Moore Faith Dental Clinic is officially open

The first free dental clinic for uninsured and underinsured patients is now open in Moore, OK.

Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation and Moore Faith Medical Clinic held a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the new Moore Faith Dental Clinic. As the first free dental clinic in the city of Moore, the new facility broadens access to oral health care by serving Oklahomans in need, regardless of insurance status.

The ceremony featured representatives from DDOK Foundation and Moore Faith, who officially opened the new community dental clinic with a symbolic, giant floss ribbon cutting. Leaders from other supporting organizations, including the Butterfield Memorial Foundation, the philanthropic initiative Moore Love and the City of Moore also joined the celebration. Following the ceremony, guests and community members toured the new facility that includes four dental chairs, a digital X-ray system, an ultrasonic medical sterilization system and additional state-of-the-art equipment.

“Oklahomans face several barriers when accessing oral health care, such as shortage of dental providers, geographic constraints and economic barriers. The new Moore Faith Dental Clinic will make it easier for our neighbors to get the dental care they need,” said Terrisa Singleton, director of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation. “All of us at DDOK are proud to support such a meaningful facility, and we look forward to seeing its positive impact on the Moore community and beyond.”

Thanks to a $130,000 grant from the DDOK Foundation and other generous contributions from partners including the Butterfield Memorial Foundation, Moore Love and the City of Moore, the Moore Faith Medical Clinic can now serve even more community members. The expansion comes at a milestone moment as Moore Faith Medical Clinic celebrates ten years of dedicated service to the Moore community, now offering even more comprehensive healthcare under one roof.

“Our work is possible because of the support we’ve received from so many organizations and people,” said Dr. Brian Johnson from Moore Faith Medical Clinic. “We are grateful to the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation, private donors, the City of Moore, the Butterfield Foundation, various churches and the hundreds of volunteers who allow our clinic to thrive.”

The Moore Faith Medical Clinic is open on Thursday evenings. Interested patients can call (405) 759-0853 to schedule an appointment. No insurance or ID is required to receive care.
